desperately needed funding and services. Upon diagnosis, many families are left without knowing where to turn, feeling hopeless and confused. We too were left feeling in despair, not know what the right path was for our son, how to help him and how to advocate successfully for him.

Autism Ontario, a non-profit organisation, helped to direct us and many other families with assistance on which government associations to contact, which wait lists to get on for services and what rights families have in the school system.
Proceeds raised through this event will benefit children and young adults on the spectrum by providing services and programs to help families cope with their day to day lives with ASD.

Our support for this cause continues to be needed. 1 in 68 children are currently diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. The prevalence of ASD has increased over 100% in the last 10 years. Autism is now the fastest growing and most commonly diagnosed neurological disorder in Canada.

To date we have raised over $99,500 with past Elite Meat sponsored BBQ events and last year’s first gala event. This year we are hoping to surpass last year’s donations of $50,000 with the support of our sponsors, families, friends and community.

The 2nd annual gala will be held at the Crystal Fountain Banquet Hall in Markham. The evening will be filled with cocktails, oyster bar, fine dining, open bar, door prizes, silent and live auctions and entertainment. We will also have special appearances by some NHL Alumni and special guests.

Please join us on April 27th, 2018 to make a difference in the lives of these children!

The Elite Meat Company and Milanovic family are excited to host the 2nd annual, “Niko’s Night for Autism” Gala event, April 27th, 2018. With the help of our sponsors, colleagues, family and friends, we were able to raise $50,000 for Autism Ontario at last year’s event. Due to such success of our first gala and the continued needs for resources for families affected with children on the spectrum, we are hoping for your continued support for this year’s event.

Raising awareness and funds for this charity began with our very own personal experience with autism and our inspiration, our son Niko. Since his diagnosis at the age of 2 ½ we’ve experienced and seen many families struggle to obtain
